We started the day in great fashion with a nice winner and that’s where it stopped for our suggested bets.
In the 3 races where we didn’t have a standout bet, we found the 3 winners, including the Blue Diamond trifecta ($255), First Four ($4,201), and the Oakleigh Plate winner ($8).
Overall, we are still showing a 19.77% ROI, a $20 per unit investment returning a $3,787 profit.
Back to Flemington this week for the Australian Guineas, can’t wait.
What a day Caulfield turned out to be on February 21! Of course, if you have been following our horse racing tips leading into the card, you would already know that we got off to the perfect start with an early afternoon confidence-booster. However, after that, the track had other plans in store for us.
The real talking point, however, is the three meetings where we decided to step back from making a firm selection. It is interesting how the betting markets responded, with the Blue Diamond trifecta paying out $255, the First Four paying out an impressive $4,201, and the Oakleigh Plate paying out $8.
Of course, when you take a step back and look at the bigger picture, the overall numbers stack up impressively. While we may have had an ROI of 19.77%, the $3,787 profit made from $20 unit stakes is the real story of the value of patience over the process.
Our horse racing tips are not about being perfect; they are about making better decisions over time. Of course, with Flemington’s Australian Guineas just around the corner, there is much to look forward to in the coming week, as it is turning out to be a cracker!
