Unfortunately, our winning run came to an end with only one of our suggested bets saluting, resulting in a loss of 6.5 units on the day.

On a positive note, we did find 8 of the 10 winners in the selections including Proved at $30.

Overall, we are showing a 20.32% POT after 76 meetings, a $20 per unit investment returning a $3,268 profit.

We head out to Cranbourne this week for their Cup Day, looking forward to that.

As we look back on the Caulfield meeting from 15 November 2025, there are some strong racing take-home lessons to sharpen future racing tips. Even though many of the headline horses were rested after Cup Week, this card still delivered solid value and insight into trainer strategies, wet-track form, and where the weight of the market sometimes misleads.

One of the standout performances was in Race 6, the How Now Stakes, where Proved came home hard to win on a good track. That run underscores how lightly raced mares with upside often represent horse racing tips value, especially when their previous form suggests they handle both firm and soft going. It’s a reminder that not every big win needs a blinding favorite sometimes the long-odds mare is the one to watch.

“I like the promising Vestas” was one of the picks for the day, and although she didn’t quite take out that race, her consistent form suggests she’s one to follow into the next wet-track engagements. Meanwhile, in longer races, staying types like Black Run showed they’ve settled in well and can be used more confidently when conditions suit.

For punters serious about refining their edge, tuning into racing podcasts has become indispensable. Many tipsters and ex-trainers break down not just race-by-race picks, but also the “why” behind their decisions analyzing form cycles, horse temperament, and even how track bias played out. Listening to the right podcasts complements your own racing tips approach, helping you spot value outside of headline names.

At the end of the day, racing is part form-study, part gut feel, and part staying in tune with the sport’s pulse. By reflecting on recent results (like the Caulfield meeting) and combining that with insights from podcasts, you can build a stronger, more balanced foundation for your next round of horse racing tips.
