The South Sydney Rabbitohs have made challenging work of 2024 so far. They comfortably sit at the bottom of the NRL league ladder with just one win; for a team with such a rich lineage in the competition to lose multiple games by over 30 points has been disgraceful. The combination of Braydon Trindall and Nicholas Hynes for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks will be licking their lips at the prospect of scoring in this game.

Given that the Rabbitohs held a crisis meeting last week, it’s hard to see how they can bounce back. A wager on a Sharks win seems sensible; however, the odds for a Rabbitohs victory might just be worth a small punt. It could be worth following how the crisis meeting changes their approach.
