Only one point separates the Cowboys and the Warriors in the standings, and the bookmakers expect this one to be just as close. Both sides are in decent form, with the Cowboys winning their previous three and the Warriors their last two, so we should see two confident teams on display. Although the Warriors’ streak is slightly less than that of the Cowboys, it’s probably more impressive, given that their two wins came against teams inside the top four. 

Regardless, I’m going to agree with the bookmakers on this one and back a closely fought contest. That’s because three of the Cowboys last five matches were separated by just two points and three of the Warriors previous five by four points or less. It’s also worth noting that two of their last five encounters saw a single point winning margin.

Bet – Back Both Teams to Win Between 1-5 Points

Tight scorelines have defined both sides this season, and that pattern is hard to ignore when looking at the NRL betting odds for this one. The Cowboys edging three straight by a whisker, the Warriors knocking off top-four sides – neither team is blowing anyone away, they’re just finding ways to win ugly. That’s actually what makes the margin market so interesting here.

For NRL betting predictions, the value isn’t really in picking a winner outright. Both squads are too evenly matched for that. The game script points to another grind, and the final scoreline will likely reflect it.
