Tigers vs Storm Preview by Dean McHugh

If ever there was a David versus Goliath match-up in the NRL, it has to be this one, as the bottom-placed Tigers host top-of-the-ladder Melbourne. Granted, the Tigers have looked slightly better as of late, picking up wins in two of their previous three matches. However, they got put in their place against the Roosters last week, and that could easily happen again here.

After a small mid-season blip, the Storm are back on track, having picked up wins in their last four games. They haven’t been their majestic selves, but they will have too much for the Tigers here, and they will be confident of making it seven wins in a row against them. However, given they haven’t been great, I’m reluctant to take them against a big handicap. Instead, I’m going to take a punt on this one and take Josh King to score a try at a big price. He has scored in his last two, and given the Storm could rack up a few points here, he has every chance to make it three in a row.
