ROSEHILL November 30

Best Bets

RACE 7: (10) PEREILLE – With a perfect in the money record of three wins and five placings from eight starts on soft and heavy tracks this honest sprinter makes a lot of appeal as forecast rain is certain to have an impact on track conditions. Well prepared for this sprint as an easy trial followed his strong first-up fourth over 1100m at Randwick on November 5 where he had a tough run from a wide barrier. Should work out well for him this time with 3.5kg less from an inside gate.

RACE 9: (14) TOWNSEND – Impressive Dundeel 4YO has made a terrific return after 14 months on the sidelines, following up his first-up placing over 1600m at Randwick with a classy 3.5 lengths win over 1850m at Newcastle when he dominated from the front under 58.5kg. Well placed to go on with it dropping to 54kg with his Group placings as a 2YO on soft and heavy tracks behind the likes of Tom Kitten and Militarize strong evidence that he will be at home in the expected conditions.

RACE 10: (15) EYE OF THE FIRE: This lightly raced 4YO began only his second campaign with an impressive Canterbury win in this class, sprinting fast along the rails from the back half for a soft win over 1100m. He won three time from seven starts in his first prep and the manner of his Canterbury win suggests he will again be suited stalking the expected fast pace. A soft track win and a placing in the heavy at this course is enough evidence to be confident about his chances in the expected conditions.

Why They Can Win….

RACE 1: (6) GALLO NERO – Professional trials. Handled soft conditions confidently in his second trial win.

RACE 2: (9) SIR REMLAP – Big upside off an impressive maiden win on soft track. Figures indicate he is better than this class.

RACE 3: (5) EXTREME FREEDOM – Rates well on a quick back up from last Saturday. Switch to a strong rider won’t hurt.

RACE 4: (11) DRIFT NET – Fitted for this by good placings since resuming. Right conditions for a peak performance.

RACE 5: (3) BULLETS HIGH – Raw talent who will relish this trip with the give in the ground.

RACE 6: (6) BELVEDERE BOYS – Good prep for this target race. Skinny price but rates as the one to beat.

RACE 8: (7) XIDAKI – Forgive his Golden Eagle performance when he had 3kg more. G3 winner with strong ratings on affected tracks.
