Sydney Roosters vs Melbourne Storm Preview
One of the most competitive contemporary rivalries in the NRL is the Sydney Roosters’ entanglements with the Melbourne Storm. Their match in Round 16 in the 2017 season went down to the Golden Point, as the Roosters won 25-24. Ever since, the teams have contested very tight fixtures, usually in high-stakes and adrenaline-fuelled affairs.
Given his prolific form so far this season, those looking for a bet on this match should consider wagering Daniel Tupou to score for the Roosters. This could be combined with a result-based selection, but it’s difficult to call. The Roosters might be several spots further down the ladder than the Storm, but the latter has yet to win a match away from home this season – and given how the Sydney-Melbourne city rivalry can spill over to NRL hatred, they might crack under pressure.
