Looking at the betting trends, this matchup tends to be high scoring.

NBA Same Game Multi Tips

Here are my NBA same game multi tips for 2nd game of the day when the Lakers host the Warriors.

• 1st Leg – Luka Doncic 30+ Pts: With no LeBron on the court, expect a big stats game from Doncic. He also loves playing the Warriors, scoring 30 or more pts in 9 of his last 12 games.
• 2nd Leg – Luka Doncic 8+ Assists: Along the same lines as leg #1, Doncic should be throwing out plenty of assists. In his last 5 playoff games, he went over 8 assists in 3 of 5. This should be even easier in a regular season matchup.
• 3rd Leg – Jimmy Butler 6+ Rebounds: Jimmy should be busy on the boards. He’s managed to get 6 or more rebounds in 5 straight games (all playoff games), with a ceiling of 11 in a playoff game.

Best Bet

Golden State have been strong on the road, winning 9 of their last 13 and I think the odds are about right in this opening season matchup. There’s no LeBron for the Lakers and a few new faces in their lineup, which may take a bit of time for the chemistry to get there. Meanwhile, Curry and Butler are back again for Golden State and form a lethal combo. Take the Warriors to win or cover in this one.
