The NBA Cup is back this Saturday and we have a nice slate ahead of us! In this NBA betting preview, I’m looking at two of the best matchups of the day. We have the Spurs against the Rockets in the morning. Then, the Curry-less Warriors look to keep up with the Nuggets.

The trends are saying the Over total looks like the best bet between these two 5-2 teams. The Rockets are holding a 4-1 record against the Over in their last 5 and it’s even better on the road at 5-0. Houston are the top scoring team in the West at 124.7 ppg and the Spurs are not far behind (117.9).
NBA Same Game Multi Tips
Here are my NBA same game multi tips for the Spurs against the Rockets.
- 1st Leg – Devin Vassell 15+ Points: Vassell looks like a decent price to get 15 points. He comes off exactly 15 pts against the Lakers and has been money at home recently, scoring 15+ in all of his last 3 home games.
- 2nd Leg – Alperen Sengün 10+ Rebounds: Sengün has been a beast on the boards lately, getting 10, 11 and 16 boards in his last 3 games. He averages just a touch under 10 boards in his last 5 against the Spurs, but he should be able to get there.
- 3rd Leg – Amen Thompson 5+ Assists: 5+ Assists for Amen Thompson should be a lock to finish off this multi. He comes off 7 assists in his last game and has gone over 5 assists in 4 of his last 5 games.

The Nuggets host the Warriors in Saturday’s late game of the day. There’s no Curry for the Warriors, so the Nuggets are big favourites. Can they get it done?

Considering the Warriors injury woes, the Nuggets should dominate the struggling Warriors here. Denver would love to get revenge after losing their season opener against them and this should be a perfect matchup. They also love playing Golden State at home, winning the last 6. Overall, they’ve covered in 5 of their last 7 as a betting favourite.
NBA Same Game Multi Tips
Here are my NBA same game multi tips for the Nuggets against the Warriors.
- 1st Leg – Nikola Jokic 10+ Assists: Jokic is a great bet in the assists markets at the moment. He comes off a season high 16 assists last game and has 30 total assists in his last 2 games. He also averages 10.2 assists against the Warriors in the last 5 meetings.
- 2nd Leg – Aaron Gordon 18+ Points: Gordon has found some shooting form in his last 2. He comes off scoring 24 and 20 pts. It’s hard to forget his 50 pt game against the Warriors in the season opener. He averages 27 pts when he plays the Warriors in the last 5 matchups.
- 3rd Leg – Jonathan Kuminga 20+ Points: With Curry out and Butler sore, someone will need to take on the scoring duties and that should be Kuminga. He scored 24 pts in his last game and that bodes well for this matchup.
