After starting the season 7-0, Geelong have stumbled into a little flat spot. The Cats were on
the end of an early ambush at home against Port Adelaide, falling short of a stirring
comeback. Chris Scott’s side will travel to the Northern Territory off a six-day break and
without superstar Jeremy Cameron, who has been ruled out with concussion. Geelong are
likely to rest veteran forward Tom Hawkins to prepare him to break the club’s games record
at home the following week. The Suns enjoy playing at their second home in Darwin, and
have stayed up north after dismantling the Kangaroos last Saturday night. A big statement if
Gold Coast can inflict a third-straight defeat on the Cats.
TIP: Gold Coast by 13 points, Matt Rowell to be best-on-ground with 25 or more
possessions
