PROFILE

An unbeatable opportunity to buy so much winning Potential

So often the really great racehorses are mares. Think Winks, Makybe Diva and Black Caviar, all of
which are the truly outstanding racehorses of our generation and between them the winners of
millions of dollars in prize money and repeated Group 1 races.

Their names and achievements are front of mind when we turn our minds and think of our exciting
young 3-year-old filly by Cable Bay and out of the So You Think mare, So Much Pleasure, who is all
set to go to the races in 2025.

This horse has already spent three months with a trainer at the start of 2024 and has spent the time
since just slowly maturing in the paddock and growing to her full size and ability.
So much so that we think she’s going to be very similar to other Cable Bay mares, such as Bubba’s
Bay, winner of $638,900 to date, and Electric Impulse, another striding mare, who has also won
more than half a million dollars.

Think of the potential return on the five per share you can buy for just $1,500 plus GST and fixed
training fees of $250 a month plus GST. Is this the well-bred filly you have been waiting to pick up
for not much money? We think it is.

Having said that, the entire Cable Bay Australian family is just coming into their own as his first and
second season youngsters, start finding some maturity and with that, some very striking winning
ways on the racetrack.

Think of the Group 1 winning Uncommon James, who has banked some $1,432,000. The stakes
winning Flying Missile who has collected some $600,000 in prize money and that’s not mentioning
any of his Group 1 offsprings in Europe.

On her mother’s side, this smart young filly has the great Australia sire, So You Think, one of
Australia’s great distance winners, as her grand sire. Few will need reminding that So You Think is a
ten times Group 1 winner and the best son of High Chaparral.

His recent winners include the Group 1 and Everest winner Think About it, and his other group 1
winners Think It Over, Knights Order and Quick Thinker, just to name a few of his outstanding
offspring.

The combination of that sort of staying power combined with the speed of Cable Bay, will lead to
some striking outcomes. Come with us and enjoy this exciting journey to see just what this
beautiful young filly can achieve on the racetrack.

Shane Nichols was born to be a horseman! The son of one of the most successful Yarra
Valley trainers to date – John Nichols, Shane started working around the stables as a
child and quickly progressed to being a valued member of the family racing operation
by the time he was a teenager.

After spending time as foreman for John, and experiencing other pre-training and
training operations interstate, it was a natural progression for Shane to “go it alone” and
try his hand at training in his own right.

Having been granted a Victorian trainer’s license 21 years ago, Shane has progressed
from training for some of his local mates to establishing a fully professional and
commercial training outfit over the past 7 years.

Without a doubt Shane’s highlight of his racing career comes from the Group One win
of I Am A Star. While on the way to the win of the 2016 Group One Myer Classic at
Flemington this filly also won the Group Three Quezette Stakes. Winning a Group One
is every trainers dream and Shane has the credentials to do it.

Shane regularly purchases horses on behalf of clients at yearling sales around Australia
