The Cats have a key finals spot to play for and will dominate the Power on Sunday on their home deck. Cameron after his haul of 11 goals last week, Neale four goals and Stengle two goals will be potent up forward, and Dangerfield could get a bagful of goals too. The Cats are fourth but will be looking to win their final four games to get them into the top two, so they don’t have to play interstate during the finals. Cameron kicked seven goals against the Power in Round 10 and will be looking to better that with the form he is in.

Port were poor in the Showdown last week losing by a record 98 points, which is also their worst loss in any match since 2011. Connor Rozee, Zak Butters and Aliir Aliir battled really hard last week against the Crows, but others will need to lift if the Power are to avoid being on the end of another embarrassing loss this week. Jack Whitlock could debut this week and Willie Rioli and Dylan Williams may return after playing well in the SANFL last week, with Williams kicking six goals against the Crows.

Bailey Smith had a carer best 43 disposals, thirteen clearances and a goal and Max Holmes also impressed with 29 Disposals, seven clearances and 664 metres gained. Miers and Atkins are also in great form giving their forwards plenty of opportunity to kick a winning score. The Cats will be in the fortunate position to have a full list of players to pick from with Mitch Duncan, Cam Guthrie, Jake Kolodjashnij and Oli Wiltshire all available for selection next week.

Geelong and Port Adelaide are set for another fierce contest this Sunday at 3:15 PM, with fans expecting a hard-fought battle at the business end of the season. Geelong has shown patches of strong form in recent rounds, particularly at home, but inconsistencies in midfield pressure have made them vulnerable against more dynamic sides. Port Adelaide, on the other hand, has bounced back after a mid-season slump, showing improvement in clearances and inside 50 efficiency.

Looking at recent encounters, Port Adelaide edged out Geelong in their last clash, and their forward structure could again prove critical. However, Kardinia Park remains a tough venue to conquer, especially for travelling teams.

From an AFL betting tips perspective, this matchup demands close attention to team lists and late changes. Both sides have injury concerns that could influence midfield matchups and ruck contests. It’s worth noting that Geelong’s form against top-eight teams has fluctuated this year, while Port has had success when winning the contested ball early.

As always, any AFL tips should consider how each team performs under pressure in close games, something both clubs have faced frequently this season. Stay updated on late team news and form trends before making your final call.
