Below, we break down our expert picks – best bet, player prop, and Same Game Multi for Collingwood v Melbourne, with odds powered by BetBetBet.

The Pies have to keep winning to secure a top four position and the double chance. They have lost five of their last six but played a lot better against the Crows after they got smashed by the Hawks the week before. They will need to rebound if they are any chance of beating the Demons who will be looking to finish the season with a win.

Collingwood has previously been one of the better pressure sides in the league until the recent drop off, but the absences of Beau McCreery who returned to the team last week and Bobby Hill have been costly. McCreery will be better for the run, but Bobby Hill is still unavailable due to personal issues. The Pies need to build their pressure back up so that they get goals through turnover, which they have been really good at earlier in the season.

Howe will return after his concussion, which will solidify the defence led by Darcy Moore and Billy Frampton.  Mason Cox is available and may get a recall to help stretch the Demons defence.

The ruck battle will be interesting with Cameron and Gawn both in good form. The Demons found a new level of ball movement against the Dogs two weeks ago but couldn’t replicate that against the Hawks. They need to take the game on and see if they can run the Pies into the ground. Clayton Oliver, Jack Viney and Christian Petracca will need to get plenty of the ball and use it well against the Hawks strong midfield and defence. Jacob Van Rooyen will be a threat up forward with his aerial presence. Harvey Langford looks like having a long career after showing the Demon faithful some big moments in recent weeks.

Stephen May had a nightmare on Jack Gunston seven goals last week and will need to reassert himself on Mihocek this week. Luker Kentfield may come in for his first game after kicking another bag of goals in the VFL last week, and Jack Billings 40 disposals and goal may come into the side too.

This should be a great game as both sides lift for these contests. Collingwood by 22 points

The upcoming Collingwood v Melbourne game has drawn plenty of attention, and it’s easy to see why. Both clubs bring different strengths that shape how AFL Betting Tips are being discussed this week. Collingwood has managed to grind out results in close contests, showing they can hold their nerve under pressure. Melbourne, on the other hand, leans heavily on its midfield dominance to gain control early. Previous meetings between these two sides suggest another intense battle, with small moments likely deciding the outcome. AFL Tips and AFL Prediction chats highlight this as one of the round’s most evenly matched showdowns.
