Storm vs Bulldogs Preview by Dean McHugh

11 April, 2024

Two teams with a very close overall record face off again. The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs want to level the series with 23 wins to match the Melbourne Storms’ win column. One man who used to share that desire is Nick Meaney. However, he left the Bulldogs for the Storm, switching allegiances.

Melbourne Storm have performed stellar performances on their home ground at Melbourne Rectangular Stadium, securing high-scoring (but well-contested) victories against the New Zealand Warriors and last weekend against the Brisbane Broncos. Conversely, people are still determining what iteration of the Bulldogs will turn up weekly. In the first two weeks, they failed to score over a single-digit tally but also put in a 32-0 shutout victory against the Gold Coast Titans. The smart money will, therefore, back the more consistent home-turfed Storm.
