Royal Meeting x So You Wonder Bay filly (2022)
This strikingly beautiful filly has been turning heads since the day she was born, but we think she
will really start attracting attention when she starts winning races, as so many others from this
emerging family are doing.
Sired by top stallion Royal Meeting, who set the industry on fire when his sensational first season
filly, Hayasugi stepped out in her first racing campaign to win the 2024 MRC Blue Diamond stakes
in February last year.
Sitting in the Caulfield Race stand that day and watching Hayasugi return to the winner’s circle, we
were all struck by just how similar she looked to our own Royal Meeting youngster, who was on that
day at home with her mates in her paddock.
Hayasugi’s success is less of a surprise when you think that Royal Meeting is himself a Group 1
winning 2-year-old from the dynamic speedster Invincible Spirit, out of a Group 1 Winning
Champion 2-year-old, Rock Opera.
On her mother’s side, this smart young filly is a granddaughter ofthe great Australian sire, So You
Think, one of Australia’s top distance winners. Few will need reminding that So You Think is a ten
times Group 1 winner, and the best son of the great stallion, High Chaparral.
His recent winners include the Group 1 and Everest winner Think About it, and his other group 1
winners include Think It Over, Knights Order and Quick Thinker, just to name a few. He is also
building a reputation of being a sire of elite broodmares.
The combination of that sort of staying power combined with the speed of Royal Meeting, we
believe will lead to some striking outcomes. Come with us and enjoy this exciting journey to see
just what this beautiful young filly can achieve on the racetrack.
But the good news only gets better. This filly has been fully broken in and already had her first
barrier sessions and as soon as we can get her to Hope Racing, who have already had success with
another Royal Meeting filly, Royal Lass, should soon start her first racing prep.
We know times are tough, so we have priced this filly at just $2,310 for a 5 per cent share with
monthly training fees set at $275, all inclusive of GST.
At this price, we don’t think she’ll be on the market for long, so don’t miss this opportunity.
While we can’t promise our filly will win $1.7 million like her half-sister, Hayasugi, we are confident
that she will prove to be an exciting horse to watch when she gets to the races and you’re not going
to buy a better horse at this entry level price.
This is a twenty-share syndicate with 5 per cent shares in this horse to be sold for $2,310 per share.
The purchase price of a share includes the up-front cost of buying this horse as well as all the other
acquisition costs, agistment, transport and training costs incurred from purchase right through
until April 1, 2025.
Ongoing training fees are also fixed at the rate of $275 a month inclusive of gst to be invoiced for
and paid monthly. This amount has been calculated to cover all costs such as racing, training,
agistment, normal vet fees, farrier fees and all management costs.
