Midweek Racing Preview – 19th & 20th August 2026

We watched this one last time out a little over a week ago and was mightily impressed with the run. She came second on that occasion, and a repeat of that performance will see her go close here. When you look at her finishing times she’s getting quicker and quicker with each run and we feel the extra 100 meters here will see her get her head in front. Godolphin’s runner Stateroom looks a lively challenger, but Queens Gamble’s superior experience on the track could see her come out on top.

Narbold has been ultra consistent as of late finishing 3-2-2 in his last three starts. He’s done his best work at this distance and if he can be ridden a tiny bit more prominently, he could get his nose in front here. Trainer Chris Waller had three winners at the weekend, so his horses are going well.
