G’day Folks! Welcome back to your weekly dose of racing previews. But first, a look back at the weekend. We had two third place runners and one fifth place. We were disappointed with the well fancied Angel Capital, but got decent runs out of both Journalism and Fluro Neuro at big odds. So, on to this week. We have more great action from the folks at Canterbury Park and there is a decent card at Newcastle to look at too.
We’re hopeful of kicking off the week in winning fashion with this one. Lorax looks the one to beat here. He finished third last time out over 1100m, doing his best work at the finish, so the step up to 1200m looks ideal. Trainer Chris Waller was once again among the winners at the weekend as three of his runners finished first past the post. Expect this one to do the same.

Biripi Perfection has clocked some decent trial times recently and is worth taking a chance on in a very exposed field. She looked like she was really getting to grips with things in her last trial and for the first time looked ready for the race track. She’s drawn well and if she gets a good start, she could run her race.
