Eels vs Rabbitohs Preview by Dean

Week 18 kicks off with a bottom-of-the-table clash between Parramatta and South Sydney. Although both teams find themselves planted towards the bottom of the ladder, one team is certainly on the up while the other appears doomed. 

The team on the up is the away side, South Sydney, who come into this game off the back of four straight wins. That win streak began with a convincing win over none other than today’s opponents. Following that victory, the Rabbitohs defence has tightened up, conceding just four tries in their previous three games. This includes shutting out the Sea Eagles last week.

The Eels have lost their last three, and I expect their streak to extend to four this week. I just can’t take any positives from their performances as of late, and they have also lost seven of the last eight against their opponents here.
