Hey folks! There isn’t an abundance of top quality midweek racing this week, but that means we get to spend a bit more time concentrating on fewer races and hopefully more winners. We will also spill over into Friday’s action for you too! There is a decent card at Canterbury on Wednesday, Gosford Thursday and Coffs Harbour on Friday. Let’s get into the action.
Kicking things off with the very first race on the card and I am expecting big things from Yoshida. He was second on debut (going down by less than half a length) to the much more experienced Persian Wonder a couple of weeks ago, and should come on for the run. Conditions here will be very similar to his previous race and he is one of a few handful that has some form at the track.

This is a tricky affair but I’m going to take a punt on the more experienced Lady Talea here. She’s been racing in better company than most of these, without being disgraced. She came fourth last time out and looked like this step up in trip will suit. She should hopefully offer decent odds, so a win and place bet may be the way to go here.

This is a really intriguing race with plenty of ifs and buts and question marks over many of these. Many of those questions are around the distance and that can not be said about Fortune. He was second last time out at the same distance as this race and although he wasn’t fancied that day, it appears a great tune up for this one. This one could go off at big odds and hopefully return us a small fortune!
